CHEBCO's summer (amateur) photo competition

« My Solex on the road »

Thank you to the participants of the Summer 2023 Photo Competition "Your Solex on the road"

First of all, a big thank you to all of you for playing the game, for letting us into your worlds, your families, your memorable moments of sharing, your pride, your victories, your restorations... deeply moving stories that were hidden behind each snapshot reflecting your passion, which we share. It's been an extraordinary experience for us, thanks to each and every one of you!

During the summer of 2023, we had the pleasure, the honour and the joy of discovering over a hundred entries to our first photo competition. It was a real journey through the world, through time, and through the love for this vintage vehicle, often from your parents, grandparents, uncles...

Unique Solex models and a variety of fascinating shots: but we had to choose three.

Three winners, whom we are pleased and proud to present to you (congratulations on your well-deserved success!):

Although three winners were selected by our panel of judges, we'd like to stress that all the entries received were exceptional in their own way: there were no losers! You have all succeeded in capturing the unique spirit of the Solex and the love of those who drive them, whether daily or occasionally.

This competition has been another fantastic escapade alongside you, but it's not the end. We're determined to continue celebrating what brings us together here: the passion for this iconic vehicle.

Stay tuned for more exciting events and opportunities to share your love of the Solex, in all its variations and combinations.

Thank you again for sharing your passion, creativity and enthusiasm with us: you've made this photo competition an unforgettable - and nostalgic - moment for our whole team.

Stay tuned for our next sunny adventures, when we'll be expecting even more of you!

And now it's time to take a look at all the photos that were proudly entered in the competition: don't forget to enlarge them to see the photo in its entirety, and perhaps the detail that made it so original.

What a discovery!
